What shapes the price

Six factors behind a cleanout estimate

Sharing these details early helps reduce surprises and match the equipment and labor to the job.

01

Volume

How much truck or trailer space the approved items are expected to use.

02

Material and weight

Dense debris such as concrete, soil, shingles and plaster may need separate handling from ordinary household contents.

03

Labor

Item quantity, disassembly needs, unusually heavy pieces and the crew time required.

04

Access

Stairs, elevators, narrow halls, long carries, limited parking and distance from the loading area.

05

Sorting and handling

Projects that require separating contents or special preparation take more time than ready-to-load items.

06

Disposal requirements

Transfer, recycling and specialty disposal rules vary by material and can affect the final price.

Junk removal starting prices

Choose the load size closest to your project

These are starting prices for approved ordinary material. The final quote depends on weight, heavy or specialty items, labor, access, travel distance and disposal requirements.

Local curbside minimum

From $100 Ready-to-load local curbside pickups

Quarter trailer load

From $200 About 1/4 of the trailer

Half trailer load

From $400 About 1/2 of the trailer

Three-quarter trailer load

From $600 About 3/4 of the trailer

Full trailer load

From $700 Up to a full approved load

Important: Trailer fractions describe approximate volume, not a guaranteed weight allowance. Concrete, soil, shingles, plaster, appliances and other heavy or specialty materials may require separate pricing even when they use less space.

Competitive contractor pricing is available to local contractors and roofers after proper verification.

From photos to final scope

A price should match the work you approve

  1. Describe the project.List the main item types, approximate quantity, property location and preferred timing.
  2. Show the access.Photos or video should include the items, stairs, hallways, doors and truck parking area.
  3. Confirm the load. Before work begins, review the included items, labor, hauling and any cleaning add-ons.
  4. Approve changes first. If the quantity or conditions differ, discuss the revised scope before adding that work.

Project size

The same pricing logic works from one item to a full property

Single items & small pickups

Item type, weight, location and minimum trip requirements matter most.

Furniture removal

Whole properties & commercial spaces

Phasing, labor, multiple load types and optional cleaning may need a site plan.

Property cleanouts

Dense and restricted materials

Some loads cannot be priced like ordinary household junk.

Concrete, brick, soil, roofing, plaster and other dense debris can reach safe hauling limits long before a container looks full. Paints, chemicals, fuel, asbestos-containing material and other regulated items may require a different provider or advance arrangements.

Review accepted and restricted items before booking.

Always identify these in advance

  • Concrete, brick, stone or soil
  • Roofing, plaster or demolition debris
  • Liquids, chemicals or unknown containers
  • Refrigerant appliances, tires or batteries
  • Anything sharp, contaminated or unusually heavy

Pricing questions

A little clarity before you commit

What are your junk removal starting prices?

Local curbside pickups start at a $100 minimum. Quarter trailer loads start at $200, half loads at $400, three-quarter loads at $600 and full trailer loads at $700. Weight, heavy materials, access, labor, travel and disposal requirements can change the final quote.

What is included in the dumpster rental starting price?

The $500 starting price includes up to three rental days and one ton of material. Travel distance, material type, placement and other project conditions can affect the quoted price.

What happens after three days or one ton?

Additional rental days start at $50 per day. Weight beyond the included one-ton limit starts at $200 per additional ton.

Can I get a quote from photos?

Photos often help us prepare an initial estimate. Include wide views, close-ups of heavy material and the access route. Final pricing may require an on-site review when volume, weight or access is unclear.

Is labor included?

Your scope should identify the loading and hauling labor included. Extra sorting, dismantling, difficult access or newly added items can change the work, so those details should be discussed before service.

Why can construction debris cost more?

Construction material can be unusually dense, sharp or subject to different disposal requirements. Type, weight, loading conditions and facility rules all matter.

Does cleaning come with every cleanout?

Hauling, interior cleaning, and exterior cleaning are different scopes. Ask about deep cleaning, power washing, roof cleaning, or window washing so each part can be planned and priced clearly.
