What shapes the price
Sharing these details early helps reduce surprises and match the equipment and labor to the job.
How much truck or trailer space the approved items are expected to use.
Dense debris such as concrete, soil, shingles and plaster may need separate handling from ordinary household contents.
Item quantity, disassembly needs, unusually heavy pieces and the crew time required.
Stairs, elevators, narrow halls, long carries, limited parking and distance from the loading area.
Projects that require separating contents or special preparation take more time than ready-to-load items.
Transfer, recycling and specialty disposal rules vary by material and can affect the final price.
Junk removal starting prices
These are starting prices for approved ordinary material. The final quote depends on weight, heavy or specialty items, labor, access, travel distance and disposal requirements.

From photos to final scope
Project size
Item type, weight, location and minimum trip requirements matter most.
Furniture removalVolume, sorting, access and the mix of accepted materials shape the scope.
Garage and basement cleanoutsPhasing, labor, multiple load types and optional cleaning may need a site plan.
Property cleanoutsDense and restricted materials
Concrete, brick, soil, roofing, plaster and other dense debris can reach safe hauling limits long before a container looks full. Paints, chemicals, fuel, asbestos-containing material and other regulated items may require a different provider or advance arrangements.
Pricing questions
Local curbside pickups start at a $100 minimum. Quarter trailer loads start at $200, half loads at $400, three-quarter loads at $600 and full trailer loads at $700. Weight, heavy materials, access, labor, travel and disposal requirements can change the final quote.
The $500 starting price includes up to three rental days and one ton of material. Travel distance, material type, placement and other project conditions can affect the quoted price.
Additional rental days start at $50 per day. Weight beyond the included one-ton limit starts at $200 per additional ton.
Photos often help us prepare an initial estimate. Include wide views, close-ups of heavy material and the access route. Final pricing may require an on-site review when volume, weight or access is unclear.
Your scope should identify the loading and hauling labor included. Extra sorting, dismantling, difficult access or newly added items can change the work, so those details should be discussed before service.
Construction material can be unusually dense, sharp or subject to different disposal requirements. Type, weight, loading conditions and facility rules all matter.
Hauling, interior cleaning, and exterior cleaning are different scopes. Ask about deep cleaning, power washing, roof cleaning, or window washing so each part can be planned and priced clearly.
